Cosa succede quando la creatività contemporanea entra nelle botteghe artigiane del Veneto?
Ci sono territori che rischiano di essere raccontati sempre allo stesso modo: come cartoline immobili o tappe veloci di un turismo che consuma senza guardare negli occhi chi quei luoghi li abita ogni giorno.
Con il progetto SOCRAT (SOcializing CRaft & contemporary Art for sustainable Tourism), abbiamo scelto di tracciare una strada diversa.
Abbiamo aperto le porte delle botteghe artigiane ad artiste e artisti, permettendo a linguaggi diversi di mescolarsi. Ne sono nati i Creative Living Labs (CLL): laboratori vivi dove l’identità di un luogo si è trasformata in una nuova forma e in una proposta turistica più umana, lenta e consapevole.
Oggi siamo felici di raccontarvi i frutti di questo viaggio.
What happens when contemporary creativity enters the artisan workshops of Veneto??
Some territories risk being told always in the same way: as motionless postcards or quick stops on a tourism that consumes without ever looking into the eyes of those who inhabit those places every day.
With the SOCRAT project (SOcializing CRaft & contemporary Art for sustainable Tourism), we chose to take a different path.
We opened the doors of artisan workshops to artists, allowing different languages to blend together. From this, the Creative Living Labs (CLL) were born: living laboratories where the identity of a place was transformed into a new form and into a more human, slow and conscious tourism proposition.
Today, we are happy to share with you the fruits of this journey.
